Sandra Karlin, Registered Psychotherapist
Whether you are seeking help individually or as a couple, I strive to make you feel that I understand what’s going on in your life in a supportive, warm and sensitive manner as we discuss, explore and develop deeper insights into your current challenges.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a Masters's Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University.

I have experience working both individually and with couples in a wide variety of practice settings. I began my career volunteering at a local retirement home, and have gone on to work in several community mental health settings, such as KidsAbility and Extend-A-Family. I have supported my clients through a vast array of challenges, including but not limited to; anxiety, depression, stress, loneliness, body image, self-esteem and life changes, to name but a few.

I have also completed the Clinical Foundations in Gottman Method Couples Therapy – a leading evidence-based approach for working with couples backed by 40 years of research. With this training and lived experience, I recognize the complexities of relationships and have a passion for helping couples to navigate various challenges. I believe that relationships are a cornerstone of living a full life and that being in a healthy relationship supports one's overall mental health.

In my downtime, I keep my life in balance through physical activities such as squash, hiking, and playing with my chocolate Labrador puppy. I also love to travel and experience different cultures as the locals do!

I'd be honoured to be a part of your journey toward wellness.
